Rick Tydings

Rick Tydings joined AB&T in 1973 after completing his studies in marketing and finance at the University of Maryland. During that time, he worked in the early Circuit City stores, gaining extensive knowledge of retail consumer electronics sales and marketing. Rick became President and CEO of AB&T in 1994 and has overseen the growth of AB&T into a national sales and marketing firm. He oversees all aspects of the company and its subsidiaries. He has served on over 15 advisory boards and rep councils for those companies AB&T has represented. Rick lives in Montgomery County, Maryland with his wife Susan and youngest daughter, Courtney.

Emmet J. Tydings

Emmet joined AB&T in 1981 and worked in the Consumer Electronics division before moving into the new comptuer division where he worked until 1990.  Emmet is President of AB&T Sales, and President of AB&T Telecom where his day-to-day activities are focused on the implementation of channel salse strategies for telecom services. He has authored or collaborated on many industry articles on channel strategy. Emmet and partner Glenn Taggart have built AB&T Telecom into one of the largest channel providers in the telecom industry.  Emmet has a BS degree from Salisbury State University, and resides on a small farm in Brookeville, MD with his wife Diana, and his three daughters.

J. Richard Monarch

Vice President of Operations and Corporate Secretary, Rick joined AB&T in January 1975 and has a Business Education degree from Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania. Prior to coming to AB&T as a sales representative, Rick was a manager of a major Philadelphia area retail audio chain. He is responsible for
internal operations of all AB&T offices and financial operations for the company. Rick resides in Laytonsville, MD with his wife Tammy and their four children.

Leo Riley

Leo J. Riley has been with AB&T since February of 1985. Leo is a partner and VP with AB&T and works from the Bristol, PA office. He is responsible for key accounts in PA and New Jersey. Previous to AB&T, Leo spent 4 years with Sony as the Key Accounts Salesman in their Consumer Audio and HiFi Division. Leo graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration and Marketing from La Salle University. He resides in Delran, NJ with his wife Alison and children, Sean and Jenna.  Key accounts in PA, NJ, DE, NJ, NY, CT, MA, RI

Chuck Wertley

Chuck is a Vice President with AB&T working from the Bristol, PA office and has been with AB&T since 1981. He has key account responsibilities primarily in Pennsylvania and Delaware, with a core focus on the distribution channel. Prior to joining AB&T, Chuck was Asst. Director of Operations for a NJ based services corporation. Chuck graduated from Montgomery College and Temple University, majoring in Business Administration. He resides in Horsham, PA with his wife Lucy and daughters, Alexandra and Julianne.

Cathy Streeter

Cathy has been with AB&T Sales since the merger with ET Sales in July of 1994. She has over 20 years experience in customer service, advertising, accounting and retail sales. As the Customer Service Manager she is responsible for training, commission reports, customer order input, tracking and follow through for the MidAtlantic / SE and TOLA Territories. She also is the Administrative Assistant to AB&T Telecom Division. Cathy has two children and resides in Mt. Airy, Maryland with her husband Tony.

Denise Himes

Denise is the Customer Service Supervisor and Sales Support for the Northern Mid-Atlantic area. She joined us in August of 1995. Her background included working as a Department Manager for a major retail store and as Accounting Supervisor for a Building Materials Supply House after attending college. Denise assists Leo Riley and Chuck Wertley as Office Manager in the Bristol Office and with Sales Support, as well as oversees customer service, order input, tracking and follow up for NE / Mid-Atlantic territory.

Denise Howard

Denise joined AB&T Sales in September 2004 as the Marketing and Logistics Assistant to provide excellent customer service to AB&T's customers and maintain good relations with vendors. She has significant customer service experience and has worked extensively with online databases. Prior to joining AB&T, she worked in the career and planning field. She has earned a business degree from Longwood University.
